De Wet Sports is a leading South African importer and distributor of premium sporting, outdoor, and leisure products, supplying major retail outlets throughout Southern Africa. To support continued business growth and increasing demand across its distribution network, the company undertook a significant expansion of its warehousing and logistics facilities. The project involved the extension of the existing warehouse by approximately 5,000 m², creating additional capacity to accommodate growing inventory requirements and improve operational efficiency. The expanded facility was designed to enhance storage capabilities, streamline distribution processes, and support the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality products to retailers across the region. Key Projects was appointed to provide comprehensive Project Management and Principal Agent services, overseeing the project from planning and design through procurement and construction. Through careful coordination of consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, the expansion was successfully delivered to meet the client’s operational objectives while minimising disruption to ongoing business activities.
