NEW REGIONAL HEAD OFFICE FOR STANDARD BANK
The commercial property development, situated next to the Kingsmead cricket grounds in Durban, accommodates most of the bank`s business units that were based in several buildings in the greater Durban area.

The three-storey Standard Bank Head Offices building will accommodate about 950 staff members and comprises 14 731 sqm of office space. In addition to the main office building, there are separate two-storey Standard Bank branch.

Construction of the office complex started in September 2005 and was completed in October 2006.

SERVICES AND OUTCOME
Key Projects are the advisers of the architect, Elphick Proome Architects, with regards to all contractual and programming issues on this commercial property development.

The project was constructed in 13 months with the
client benefited from an uncompromising focus on programme to ensure timely delivery to meet their lease constraints.

The team overcame worse than anticipated challenging soil conditions below sea level, it was due to detailed programming that solutions were sort to ensure timely completion.
