HIRSCH'S MILNERTON, CAPE TOWN
After thirty three years in business, with many years of trading in KwaZulu Natal, and in the last nine years in Gauteng, Hirsch's, the largest independently owned appliance company in South Africa will soon be opening a Hirsch's Homestore branch in Cape Town. The branch will be situated in Koeberg road, Milnerton , and will service the new developing area of Table Bay. Said Hirsch's Operation Manager Margaret Hirsch "We loved the spot as it is within the commercial precinct of the Royal Ascot development in Milnerton, and has close access to the City and the Freeways."

SERVICES AND OUTCOME
The project is being managed under the leadership of Key Projects. Isipani Construction are the main contractor, the Architect is Elphick Proome, QS is FWJK and engineering by Sutherland, and the team have, in a very short space of time, conceptualised, designed and procured the project to meet the Hirsch's demanding programme.

Principal Agent of Key Projects, Markus Kaps pointed out that the Hirsch's new flagship store will comprise over 5,000 sqm of retail and warehouse space using the latest construction technology to achieve a very tight programme. "The development will benefit the environment by ensuring that storm water entering the municipal system will be cleaned of contaminants and the planned landscaping will also enhance the buildings in line with Royal Ascot's high standards." he said. For speed and ease of buildability, a highly durable, low maintenance concrete walling system is being used to meet the April 2012 deadline for opening.

"We feel that we have a unique operation which we are looking forward to creating in Cape Town and we assure Capetonians of a unique shopping experience." Margaret concluded.
